TThe Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order under BOA N00019-96-G-0022 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, CT for the design, manufacture, installation and test of two (2) Service Life Extension (SLEP) kits into two (2) H-53E model helicopters. Respondents to this synopsis must be technically familiar with the H-53E/S-80 product line, and possess a detailed working knowledge of H-53E/S-80 aircraft systems and sub-systems. Additionally, respondents must have demonstrated a high degree of capability in the areas of helicopter design, two and three-dimensional aircraft modeling, aircraft production, post assembly test and in-service support. As this effort will serve to validate and verify requirements of the H-53E SLEP, respondents must have the clearly defined resources and ability to develop and generate a detailed and comprehensive source technical data package to be used in future, planned H-53E SLEP installations.
