This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purposes of this procurement are to implement activities to assist in meeting the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) 5-Year Plan objectives; to communicate EMSC issues through annual meetings, newsletters, and other communication vehicles; and to participate in meetings of the EMS Partnership for Children Consortium. The contractor shall participate and report on EMSC Partnership for Children meetings; prepare a draft student curriculum and instructor manual for Managing School Emergencies, Phase Two; conduct a pilot test; revise the curriculum and instructor manual; and prepare a report on the curriculum and instructor manual. The National Association of School Nurses, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is twelve months.
