NASA/Johnson Space Center is interested in obtaining a study on a no-cost basis to demonstrate new capability in the technology of propulsion for the purpose of re-boost of the International Space Station to a higher orbit in the spaceflight environment. Specifically the International Space Station (ISS) program will need reboost to higher orbit from time to time beginning calendar year 2001, for a period yet to be determined. The purpose of the study is to foster development of new technical applications for ISS reboost. If possible, the study should include an estimated cost relative to implementation of the study and also include a business arrangement recommendation. Organizations interested in providing the space and ground based equipment to accomplish this demonstration, at no cost to the ISS program should contact the individual identified below.
