This is a market survey to locate additional sources for manufacturing the newly designed Operations Central for the AN/TPQ-36(V)8 Firefinder System, associated spares and engineering support, NSN: 5895-01-390-0524, P/N: A3203930. We intend to place a one time short term contract for a quantity of twelve (12) Operations Central units. The current source is Northrop/Grumman. Detailed technical data and/or Performance Specification are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of producing these units and providing the engineering support must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CF, Building 1201E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results,copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the current source or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the items; in addition, the items must be physically and functionally interchangeable with the items produced by the current source of supply for this NSN. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended with the AN/TPQ-36(V)8 Firefinder system.
