The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to obtain information from manufacturers of non destructive test equipment that is currently available and capable of detecting hidden cracks in the metal components of ammunition i.e. 40mm projectiles without performing disassembly. Interested sources are encouraged to submit information to the Government NLT 17 August 1998 regarding equipment testing capability, delivery schedule, and pricing for budget and planning purposes. Information should identify company name, address, point of contact and telephone number. This is a Sources Sought announcement only, and not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any materials in response to this synopsis.
