Services will include demolition of existing block and masonry structural systems, and the existing mechanical, electrical, and compressed air systems. Repair work includes replacing windows and doors, painting, installing new floor coverings, sealing concrete floor, and installing new mechanical heating, cooling, ventilation and compressed air systems, replacing lighting in shop and office areas, and replacing the entire facility power distribution systems including a new high voltage transformer. Other repairs include upgrading telecommunications, fire and security systems utilizing some government furnished equipment. New construction will include installation of new hoist and trolley system on existing monorail, exterior storm drainage system at overhead door locations, and membrane type roofing system to include handling heating and cooling unit, and various exhaust units.
