614-336-7343 Construction Services are required for the repair and
renovation of a C-130 aircraft engine repair and maintenance shop and
office facility at the 179th Airlift Wing, Ohio Air National Guard
Base, Mansfield Lahm Airport, Ohio. Services will include demolition of
existing block and masonry structural systems, and the existing
mechanical, electrical, and compressed air systems. Repair work
includes replacing windows and doors, painting, installing new floor
coverings, sealing concrete floor, and installing new mechanical
heating, cooling, ventilation and compressed air systems, replacing
lighting in shop and office areas, and replacing the entire facility
power distribution systems including a new high voltage transformer.
Other repairs include upgrading telecommunications, fire and security
systems utilizing some government furnished equipment. New construction
will include installation of new hoist and trolley system on existing
monorail, exterior storm drainage system at overhead door locations,
and membrane type roofing system to include handling heating and
cooling unit, and various exhaust units. Utility work includes
installing new underground electrical service to facility. Technical

419-521-0375. Total estimate range for this project is between $250,000
and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is
1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates
is no more than $17 million average annual revenue for the previous
three years. This procurement is Full and Open competition, but will be
subject to the SDB bonding evaluation preference procedures. There is
a Seventy-five ($75.00) dollar non-refundable charge for the
solicitation package. Payment must be made in the form of a cashiers
check, money order, or certified check payable to the U.S. TREASURY.
Solicitation packages will be available on or about August 14, 1998,
with bid opening 30 days later. Request for packages must be in writing
oncompany letterhead. No telephone or facsimile requests will be
accepted. Requests for Planholders List may be submitted by facsimile.
All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
