The solicitation packages will be available on August 14, 1998 with an anticipated bid opening on or about September 4, 1998. The successful bidder will be responsible for the evaluation of all inmate patients referred to him/her from the medical and psychology departments. The contractor will after evaluation determine the psychiatric needs of the patient, prescribe appropriate medications, and/or make recommendations for a psychiatric referral to a Bureau of prisons Medical Center for further evaluations and necessary treatments. There will be one (1) eight (8) hour session one day a month. The contract period is for one year with two one year options to extend the term of the contract.
