GSA's National Furniture Center intends to issue a continuous open season solicitation for Multiple Award Schedule 71, Part XIV, Section B -- Industrial Furniture -- Workbenches, Worktables, High Density Storage Cabinets, Electrical Systems Enclosures will issue on or about August 1, 1998. In order to accommodate offers for new or improved products, Special Item Number 592-99 is now included in the Solicitation. New Special Item Number 592-98 for International coverage is also included as a new Special Item Number to cover foreign destinations. This Federal Supply Schedule will have a continuous Schedule period without a firm beginning or ending date. Contract periods will commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire in 5 years (exclusive of any options). This Solicitation will become a standing opportunity for new offers, and new offers may be forwarded at any time. Identical brand name items will be awarded when offers are determined to be fair and reasonable to the Government. Contract awarded as a result fo this Solicitation will be indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity.
