The system must meet the following criteria: Equipment should include a camera capable of projecting a color picture on the computer screen, storing the picture for record, and placing that picture on the ID card; a computer with applicable hardware to process and store ID card information on 1000 employees; software to provide support for the photo, database to store information; printer and print drivers to produce the ID card with a color picture. (1) Unit must be stand alone/turn key. BLM does not have IT support for installation, operation, maintenance, or network integration support. (2) Unit must be able to project and store (database) picture and information from the ID cards for 1000 active employees and up to 3000 archived data. (3) Unit must be able to print ID cards with a color picture produced by the camera. (4) Vendor must be able to provide support on card design and supply ID cards on a continuing basis that are reasonable reproductions of Department Cards (permanent, temporary, and retired).
