The U.S.Army Aberdeen Acquisition Center, Chemical and Biological Defense Command Branch, intends to negotiate with the Gentex Corporation, Carbondale, PA, in conjunction with the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to acquire 12,600 each Thermal Plastic Liners (TPLs), NSNs 4240-01-455-7982, 4240-01-456-4510, 4240-01-456-4509, 4240-01-456-4512, 4240-01-456-4511 and 4240-01-456-4516, for the M45 Protective Mask. Any resultant contract will contain an option for an additinal 5000 TPLs. The contract period of performance is 830 days. Delivery of the TPLs shall commence 60 days after date of contract and be made at a rate of 500 TPLs per months. The delivery destination is Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, KY.
