Y -- ROAD 2840 CUTSLOPE RECONSTRUCTION PHASE II SOL SOL R6-6-98-273 DUE 092398 POC Contracting Section, 503/668-1621 This project consists of stabilizing and rehabilitating 600 linear meters of a 20 to 50 meter high cutslope. Stabilization measures will include hand and minimal mechanical scaling of the cutslope, installation of grouted earth anchors, hanging slope protection, felling, bucking, and hauling trees removed from the top of cutslope. A preposal tour is scheduled for September 15, 1998, 10:00 a.m. at Hood River Ranger Station, Parkdale, Oregon. The project is located on the Hood River Ranger District, Mt.
