The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, intends to issue a purchase order to the Lighting Research Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY, for SPECIFIER REPORTS and SPECIFIER REPORT SUPPLEMENTS. Items procured on this order will include 2,354 copies of each of the following three reports: "Guide to Selecting Frequently Switched T8 Fluorescent Lamp-Ballast System," "Photosensors," and "Exit Signs 2." These reports will be used to support the EPA's Energy Star Buildings and Green Lights Program. RPI is the creator and publisher of these reports. It is the only source of third-party name-brand information about energy-efficient lighting products.
