Nonpersonal Services for one Post-Doctoral Research Associate to provide technical and administrative support of current and future research studies. Primary emphasis of support provided will be in analytical chemistry/toxicology, and will require the use of one or more of the following analytical techniques and methodologies: HPLC, GC/MS, protien electrophoresis. Work performed must be in compliance with applicable DoD and Air Force Directives and regulations and must be in compliance with federal GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) regulations as specified in 21 CFR 58. Work will generally be performed at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Clinical Investigations, also referred to as the "medical treatment facility" (MTF) herein, BLDG 4430, Lackland AFB, TX, but some work at other facilities may be required. These other facilities may include, but are not limited to, other buildings on Lackland AFB (including annex), locations associated with Brooke Army Medical Center, University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio, or Brooks Air Force Base. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). The Research Associate shall possess an individual Doctor of Philosophy (PH.D.) degree from an accredited University. Major course of study degree shall be in a physical or biological laboratory science. Period of Performance is 01 Oct 98 through 30 Sep 99. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated.
