The work includes the in place closure of (2) 20,000 gallon underground fuel oil storage tanks, demolition and disposal of all fuel oil, steam, condensate, and installtion of (2) 20,000 double wall underground storage tanks at Building A6NH at the Naval Complex, Newport RI. B. The SIC Code is 1711 and the size standard is $7.0 million. C. The issue date (IFB) date is 10 August 1998 and the bid opening date (BOD) is 10 Sep 1998. D. The proposed contract (solicitation) is Unrestricted. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. E. There is a Non-refundbale charge of $16.00 for the plans and specifications. Offerors interested in obtaining the plans and specifications for this project must submit their request along with a Certified check, cashiers check, money order or company check in the amount of $16.00 to DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING SERVICE(DAPS),47 CHANDLER ST, NEWPORT RI 02841-1712.
