969 2796 The National Park Service intends to award a sole source
contract to Soter Construction for road rehabilitation in Rocky
Mountain National Park. This proposed action is for services for which
the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source
under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their
interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of
intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all
expressions of interest received within 30 calendar days of the date of
publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A
determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract
based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of
the Government. Information received in response to this notice will
be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a
competitive procurement. The work consists of furnishing equipment,
materials, and personnel for the pulverization and foam injection
asphalt reconstruction of asphalt roadways not to exceed 2.5 roadway
miles (not lane miles) at various locations throughout the park. The
pulverization process will include at a minimum a 6" deep stabilization
of the existing roadway material. The job site is located in Larimer
and Grand counties in Colorado. The estimated price range for the base
is between $25,000 and $100,000. The estimated price range for all
