service for federal agencies at the Peachtree Summit Building and the
Atlanta Federal Center, Atlanta, GA, respectively. The type of service
shall be ISDN PRI. The total estimated trunking requirements are
approximately twenty (20) PRI circuits (460 two-way trunks) and a total
of 15,000 DID numbers. The PRI circuits shall be offered via a
self-healing SONET ring with physical diverse entry into the buildings.
Offeror shall be responsible for interfacing the offered service with
all existing system(s) equipment. Trunks shall be engineered to conform
to Bellcore standards. Contractor provided equipment located on-premise
shall have continuous power to include 48 VDC where needed. Number
portability (if required) shall be provided at no additional cost to
the Government. No number change to implement the required service
shall be allowed unless proven to be in the best interest of the
Government. Pursuant to the Telecommunications Act of 1996, offerors
are required to submit a signed copy of an interconnect agreement with
BellSouth as an attachment to their initial proposal. Qualified
responsible sources having the ability to furnish the above service are
requested to give written notice (including telephone number and point
of contact) to the acquisition office listed in this notice within
fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this publication. GSA will
send a solicitation package to all interested sources responding to
