Professional Cadastral survey services are required to perform a
boundary survey on portions of Amistad National Recreation Area, Val
Verde County, Texas. The work involves surveying and computation of
boundary line closures and monumenting approximately 70 miles of
boundary. The work must be performed under the supervision of a
Registered Porfessional Land Surveyor licensed by the State of Texas.
Specific criteria used in the procedures outlined in response to this
ammouncement in descending order of importance include: (1) The firm
must have a Registered Professional Land Surveyor licensed by the State
of Txas employed to supervise the boundary survey; (2) The firm must be
capable of presenting evidence of experience in successfully performing
boundary surveys in the State of Texas; (3) The firm must have
sufficient number of qualified personnel experienced in performing
boundary survey work and adequate plant and equipment to accomplish the
work in the required time; (4) The firm must be able to show evidence
of past performance on contracts with respect to quality of work and
compliance with performance schedules; (5) The firm should possess
familiarity with the project area and the Technical Standards
established by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying, pursuant
to the Professional Land Surveying Practices Act, effective September
1, 1991, to facilitate timely completion of the project without
extensive and detailed supervision by the Contracting Officer's
Technical Representative; (6) Volume of work previously awarded the
firm when combined with this project will not significantly affect the
objective of the National Park Service to equitable distribute survey
contracts among qualified firms. Estimated Contract period is 180
days. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small
business firms including woman and minority owned and operated survey
firms. Firms are invited to submit a letter of interest and completed
Standard Forms 254 and 255 for each firmand this project. Responces
must be received before COB twenty five (25) days from the date of this
publication (first work day following a weedend or holiday) in order to
be considered for selection. The resulting award from this announcement
will be made in accordnce with PL 100-656. All responsible sources may
submit an offer which will be considered. This is not an RFP. Posted
