SOL OXHSFDX-98-038 DUE 081798 POC Denise Reavis, 202-273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide,install, and test complete and fully operational sound reinforcement systems in a total of thirteen courtrooms, in two US Federal Court Houses in Greenbelt and Baltimore,Maryland. Seven courtrooms in Greenbelt, Md and six courtrooms in Baltimore, Md. The sound reinforcement systems includes voice reinforcement, assisted listening, recording, phone interface, control system, and includes upgrade to existing sound systems in these courtrooms. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of sound reinforcement equipment, preparation of operations and maintenance manuals, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to manufacture's specifications. Awardwill be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest-price. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required.
