Work shall include replacing the existing dual rotating skimmer mechanisms at the sewer treatment plant. The unit shall consist of an electric motor-driven mechanical dual helical skimmer assembly that has a gear motor capable of continuous and automatic operation. The system shall be capable of making a sufficient number of sweeps, operating at approximately 5.6 rpm. The performance period is 90 days. This will be a firm-fixed price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 1711.
