Two borrow sites will require developing. One site will require grading of road and ditches, cleaning of existing culverts, removal of one 450-mm corrugated metal pipe and relaying the pipe in a new suitable adjacent location, and re-leveling the gate. Estimated price range is between S100,000 and S250,000. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 4, 1998. Contract time is approximately 60 calendar days and estimated beginning date will be in September 1998. Each bidder must submit a bid guarantee with the bid in the amount of 20 percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance security in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price and payment bond in the amount of 50 percent of the total contract price.
