The principal features of the work to be performed under this solicitation include the following: (1) Earthwork for foundation, floor slab, and aprons; (2) Furnishing and placing reinforced concrete foundations, floor slab, and aprons for pre-engineered metal building; (3) Furnishing and erecting a nominal 30-foot-wide by 96-foot-long, clear span, insulated, pre-engineered metal building having a 16-foot eave height, and a 1:12 roof pitch; the building shall have steel man-doors and insulated overhead vehicle doors at each end and a center divider wall; (4) Furnishing and installing a complete electrical system; (5) Furnishing and installing evaporation type air conditioners; (6) Furnishing and installing a two-stage air compressor and piping; and (7) Assembling, installing, testing, and painting a Government-furnished pulse filter system. The work is located at the Hoover Dam Warehouse Complex, which is approximately 7 miles northeast of Boulder City, Nevada, and 32 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada, in Clark County, Nevada. The estimated cost range of this project is from $100,001 to $250,000. The performance time for completion of this project is 90 calendar days. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 1541. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation documents is August 10, 1998. The estimated date for receipt of bids is September 10, 1998. There is a non-refundable charge of $20 per hard copy of the solicitation.
