99 -- TOPSOIL SOL N670-B98-0054 DUE 091098 POC Sharon Krenek 303/236-9443; Rex Thomsen, Contracting Officer 303/236-9443 Bureau of Land Management Coeur D'Alene District has a requirement for an indefinite delivery quantity contract with options, to supply and deliver unscreened topsoil from the Rathdrum Prairie (general vicinity of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho) to selected sites in the Pine Creek drainage. Soil shall be used as a growth medium to help re-establish vegetation. The BLM will inspect the source and will periodically have the topsoil analyzed to insure compliance with specifications. Delivery Site Locations: Access is off of Interstate 90 at Pinehurst, Idaho. Maximum distance from Interstate 90 is approximately 8 miles (upstream of Pinehurst). Delivery sites are recently graded floodplains adjacent to the county road. All sites are accessible by a 12 c.y. dump truck. The maximum is not expected to exceed 13,000 tons. See Note 1.
