The Marine Forces Reserve has a requirement for Cellular Phone and Pager rental and/or service. The Contractor (s) will be responsible for providing Cellular Phone service for approximately 200 or more, Cellular Phones and 200 or more, government owned pagers of various makes and models, (AT&T, Erickson, Digital, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Premier, Pagenet, Sony, Teltac, Uniden, ETC.) in addition to lease/purchase of another 100 or more Pagers and/or Cellular Phones. These Cellular Phones and Pagers will be located in various locations throughout the the U.S.. The purpose of this contract is to standardize and consolidate billing of Cellular Phones and Pagers. This is an unrestricted acquisition, with a standard industrial classification code of 4812, the business size standard is 1,500 empolyees. The Government intends to award a one year plus four option years, indefinite-delivery contract. This procurement may result in a single or multiple awards. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 7/22/98 with proposals being due on or about 8/12/98.
