This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is TIRNO-98-00070, issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition 97-04. (iv) The Internal Revenue Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Chi Corporation for the acquisition of hardware and software upgrades for the service centers located in Covington, KY; Philadelphia, PA; Austin, TX; Memphis, TN; Kansas City, MO; Holtsville, NY; Andover, MA; and Fresno, CA.
