This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation for this RFQ: DTFH70-98-RFQ-0008, is Request for Quote (RFQ). The slocitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). The items and quantities requested under this RFQ are ANFO, 115,000 pounds; Superfrac, 23,000 pounds; Xactex, 1,000 pounds; Trunkline delays (includes 12' and 20'), 3,400 each; Detonating cord (25-grain), 13,000 feet; Detonators (non-elec), (20', 40',60',80'), 800 each; allowing for a 10% plus or minus in quantity. Price based on F.O.B. Annette Island, Alaska at Hemlock Bay in 20-ft sea containers on Chassis for roll on/roll off services. Delivery weights at 10 tons minimum; Container units alowed to remain at delivery site for explosive storage up to 60 days without additional cost. Matirials need be available by August 30th, 1998.
