Base Bid includes removal of existing metal culvert and a portion of the existing dike, installation of new cast-in-place concrete foundation and headwall culvert construction, installation of new pre-cast concrete culverts with water cut-off ("stop-log") mechanism, re-construction of earthen dike with stone rip-rap facing, restoration of the dike to original condition, including armor stone and roadway, for all portions of the dike altered for the convenience of the work. Work also includes construction of access roads at two locations and construction of berms at three locations, one with a one-way flow valve and metal culvert. Add Alternate includes 40 tons of additional rip-rap.
