The FAA has a requirement for grounds maintenance at the Oakland Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located at 5125 Central Avenue; Fremont, CA. The contractor must provide a well supervised work force for the care and maintenance of approximately nine acres of land, which includes a child care center. Work includes weekly, biweekly, and monthly services, outlined in the statement of work, for such services as watering, mowing, clipping, edging, pruning, fertilizing, weed abatement, care of lawns, plant beds, disposal of dead rodents, and care of parking areas and driveways. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded for a base year. Options may also be exercised for the following four years after the base year.
