Ko, Contracting Officer (757) 628-4645 Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform routine drydock repairs including, but not limited to, the following Minimum Items: 1) Inspect Bronze Sleeves in Various Shaft Packing Areas. 2) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Propeller Shafts. 3) Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings. 4) Renew Propeller Shaft Strut Nuts. 5) Remove and Reinstall Propellers. 6) Inspect and Repack MDE Exhaust Flapper Valves and MDE Exhaust Piping. 7) Preserve the V850 Transducer Hull. 8) Overhaul, Renew and Test Valves. 9) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel and Waste Oil Tanks. 10) Remove and Reinstall Rudders. 11) Overhaul Stabilizing Fins. 12) Preserve Forepeak Compartment. 13) Preserve Underwater Body. 14) Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank(s). 15) Preserve Aluminum Mast. 16) Inspect and Maintain Cathodic Protection System. 17) Provide Temporary Messing. 18) Provide Temporary Logistics. 19) Routine Drydocking. Indefinite Items include: 1) Welding Repairs. 2) Straighten PropellerShaft. 3) Repair Propeller Root Erosion. 4) Renew Rudder Bearings. 5) Renew Lower Fin Stock Bearing. 6) Preserve Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank(s). 7) Preserve and Disinfect Potable Water Tanks. 8) Renew Reference Electrode. 9) Renew Cathodic Anode. 10) Renew Capastic Fairing. 11) Ultrasonic Testing. The vessel's homeport is Mayport, FL. Vessel length is 110 foot, Island Patrol 'C' Class Cutter. USCGC PEA ISLAND'S availability schedule is 21 October 1998 for forty-two days. The place of performance is not geographically restricted. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Funds are available for this procurement. The proposed contract listed here is a part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 3 August 1998.
