The workshop is to determine the best strategy to intervene with Native Hawaiians who are at high risk group for cardiovascular disease (CVD) morbidity and mortality. The workshop will be a springboard for the development of culturally sensitive materials and tools, and will involve a group of health care professionals and the Native Hawaiian cultural organizations in a collaborative planning process. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. This requirement is under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code number 8733, size standard $5M. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
