Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) This solicitation contains two separate projects, construction of a Control Tower and Base Operations/Weather Building. Construction consists of demolition at each project location, site work including grading, drainage, and installation of site utilities, water, sewer and electrical, construction of concrete slabs, procurement and erection of steel framed buildings, bldg. insulation, exterior metal panels skin and roofing. Interior partition walls with gypsum wallboard finishes, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems. The Control Tower consists of installation of 36" drilled piers and steel framed superstructure, including steps, ladders, steel and concrete flooring and exterior metal closure panels. Work will include roofing, interior partitions, electrical plumbing, HVAC and observation cab. In country contractors may obtain plans and specifications at the Honduras Project Office. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is not required. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $17,000,000 for the past three years.
