S -- OBTAIN ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR THE TRI-COMMAND, BEAUFORT, SC SOL N62467-98-B-4957 DUE 090398 POC Debbie Foss, 843/525-3527 ext. 227 The intention of this solicitation is to obtain elevator maintenance and repair services for the Tri-Command in Beaufort, SC to include the Marine Corps Air Station, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, and the Naval Hospital by means of a firm fixed-price contract. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, and management required to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, repair and component replacement as required to maintain elevator and dumbwaiter equipment systems in accordance with the manufacturer's original specifications. Manufacturers such as, but not limited to Canton, National, Holl/Whitney, Montgomery, Matot, Elex, Otis and Dover. Work includes the performance of service call work, preventive maintenance of equipment, routine and periodic inspections and tests, and other services. This procurement will be unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1796. The business size standard is $7M. The contract will be written for a base year with four (4) one-year options.
