The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, Marietta, GA., to perform modifications and repairs necessary on P-3, EP-3, S-3, and ES-3 aircraft. Orders originating from the U.S. Navy or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) line items may cover requirements implementing engineering changes to the aircraft and associated equipment including airframe, avionics, accessories, support equipment and training systems. These orders will cover procurement of non-recurring engineering, trial and prototype kits, retrofit kits, installation of kits, spares, repair parts, Support Equipment (SE), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) repair, services and materials necessary to modify existing GFE, contractor installation of SE, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), training, technical support, and technical data including revisions to affected publications. Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems Corporation is the only known source with the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings, data and experience to perform this effort in the time required.
