Ventilation Ducting. 8) Inspect and Test Air Receivers. 9) Renew Fuel
Tank Vents. 10) Overhaul & Repair Fans and Preserve Deck. 11) Overhaul
& Repair Fan Coil Conditioner Units (FCC). 12) Renew #2 Boiler Steam
Piping and Preserve Boiler Deck. 13) Renew HALON Discharge Piping. 14)
AFFF Proportioner Pump Control System Modifications. 15) Overhaul
Anchors and Anchor Chains and Preserve Chain Locker. 16)Overhaul and
Weight Test Shipboard Davit Crane (Allied Marine Crane-Model Davit

Provide Temporary Logistics. Repairs will be performed at the vessel's
homeport, which is Charleston, SC. Vessel availability schedule will
be 28 October 1998, for 63 days. There will be a non-refundable charge
required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable
to the U.S. Coast Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested U. S.
Coast Guard specification reference drawings. All other referenced
documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600,
Norfolk, VA. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 25
August 1998. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be
considered by the United States Coast Guard. ATTENTION: Minority,
Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP)
offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to
finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
