Frazier The U.S. Dept of Commerce/NOAA/NESDIS intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Hawaiian Rafting Adventures, Inc. Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, to provide maintenance and calibration services for the Marine Optical Buoy, (MOBY) and Atmospheric Transmittance Radiometer (CIMEL). Contractor will provide charter boats, labor, material, and expertise to calibrate and maintain scientific, equipment at two (2) remote locations. Vendors who believe they can provide the required services are invited to submit, in writing, and affirmative response demonstrating an ability to immediately undertake these duties with a cost benefit to the Government. Any written responsive must be received no later than 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. In order to be responsive, the correspondence must be accompanied by a written narrative statement of capability, including technical information and other technical literature, sufficient to permit the agency analysis in order to determine a bona fide capability to meet the Government's requirements.
