The Federal Emergency Management Agency intends to award a purchase order for to upgrade its existing Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at FEMA's Mt. Weather Emergency Assistance Center in Berryville, VA. The existing system was manufactured by Landis & Gyr Management of San Jose, CA, and it consists of; a "Telegyr 6500" master station, five "Telegyr 5100" RTR's, and associated communications equipment and circuits. The Contractor shall provide and install a new master station, install all new software, and perform all programming, data entry and testing that are required to set up the system. RFQ # EMW-1998-RQ-0061 will be issued on or about July 28, 1998, and quotes will be due on or about August 6, 1998. FEMA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order for the required services.
