SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to place a contract with Raytheon Electronic Systems, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, telephone 978-440-4937, for continuation of engineering and technical support for the Relocatable-Over-The-Horizon Radar (ROTHR)(AN/TPS-71). Raytheon will provide management support services, training support, maintenance and support services, and integrated logistic support. Estimated 680,000 man-hours. As the developer and producer of the ROTHR System, Raytheon has background information, experience, and data not obtainable from any other source. Raytheon possesses the unique technical and engineering experience and expertise needed to satisfy the requirements of this procurement. Enhancements and emergent special short lead tasks under this contract will further define the system and functional requirements. A Secret Security Clearance for facility and employees is required. The anticipated type of contract is a cost plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity covering a base year with option provisions to extend for five additional, one-year periods.
