The acquisition is for a indefinite quantity-type contract, for Carbonated Beverage Base, Dispensers and C02 containers to be supplied to all military dining facilities on Okinawa, Japan. This is a Request For Proposal (RFP) competitive requirement. Estimated beverage quantities are to be supplied in three (3) and five (5) gallon tanks. Beverage flavors and estimated annual quantities are Cola- (1980 tanks each); Limen-Lime or Sprite or equivalent- (1670 tanks each); Root Beer- (1310 tanks each); Dr Pepper or Cherry cola or equivalent- (1660 tanks each); and Diet Cola- (480 tanks each) to be requisitioned by delivery orders. Offerors are also required to supply and service all dispensing machines with self-contained ice makers. The Basic contract period will be 1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with four (4) one year option periods. This is an unrestricted acquisition for all "eligible" products as prescribed by the Trade Agreements Act. FAR clauses and provision applicable to this acquisition, FAR 52.225-8, 52.225-9, 52.225-20, 52.225-21, 52.214-34, and 52.214-35. The FOB point is: Destination.
