67 -- CLOSED CIRCUIT VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR TWO MONITORING SITES: SHASTA DAM SECURITY CENTER; AND KESWICK CONTROL CENTER POC If you have any questions please contact Cassie Storms (916) 978-5143. 67 -- The USBR has a requirement for a closed circuit video surveillance system for 2 monitoring sites, Shasta Dam Security Center and Keswick Control Center. Each monitoring site will monitor and control all cameras at that site and have the ability to monitor and control the cameras at the other site on equipment that uses standard telephone lines. (1) The Shasta Dam video network will consist of: (a) 2 starlight (GEN 3) 1/2" night vision cameras (.0001 lux), environmental housing with blower and defroster, mounted on a 24v pan/tilt unit, 1" 15-180mm f 1.9-2000 motorized zoom lens with auto iris; (b) 6 color, 1/3" DSP high-resolution ultra low light CCD cameras, (programmable over sampling), environmentl housing with blower and defroster, mounted on a 24v pan/tilt unit, 1" 15-180mm f 1.9-2000 motorized zoom lens with auto iris; and (c) 2 color 1/3" DSP high-resolution CCD cameras, in-door housing w/blower, 1/3" 3.5-8mm varifocal uto risi lens. (2) Keswick Dam video network will consist of: (a) 4 color, 1/3" DSP high resolution ultra low light CCD cameras (programmable over sampling), environmental housing with blower and defroster, mounted on a 24v pan/tilt unit, 1" 15-180mm f 1.9-2000 motorized zoom lens with auto iris; (b) 2 color1/3" DSP high-resolution CCD cameras, in-door housing w/blower, 1/3" 3.5-8mm varifocal auto iris lens; and (c) 1 color 1/3" DSP high-resolution CCD cameras, environmental housing with blower and defroster, 1/3" 3.5-8 mm varifocal auto iris lens. Shasta Dam Security Center and Keswick Control Center equipment includes: a camera and pan/tilt joy stick control panel; a 16 input X 4 output matrix switcher w/alarm and data inputs; a digiplex data distributor; a RS232 serial data to digiplex data converter; a 13 speed s-vhs time lapse video cassette recorder; 3 20" monitors; a remote set-up control for over-sampling cameras; a 16 channel color duplex sequential multiplexer; a 16 channel color digital phone line video receiver; a 16 channel color digital phone line video transmitter; and 2 33.6 kbps telephone line modem. Two of the 20" monitors will be used for on-site cameras, the other 20" monitor will be connected to the 16 channel video receiver. All on-site video inputs will connect to the 16 input X 4 output matrix switcher and to the 16 channel color duplex sequential multiplexer to provide video of rhte 16 channel video transmitter. Contractors interested in submitting a quotation for this requirement must first submit information (catalogs or specifications) for equipment they propose to furnish.
