This will be an Indefinite Quantity/Requirements Type Contract to furnish all equipment, personnel, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various construction activities and road building services for a multiple lake project in central Texas (including Belton, Stillhouse Hollow, Georgetown, Granger, and Canyon Lakes, Tx). Work includes equipment rental, tree removal, paving, water and sewer line installation, fencing, painting, and various other construction activities. Actual work performed will be authorized by delivery orders issued independently to the contractor during the term of the contract. Duration of the contract is from the date of award through 30 September 1999 with four option periods of 365 days each. Offers from all qualified business concerns are solicited. If a large business is selected, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that part of the work it intends to subcontract. The Fort Worth District's goals are as follows (expressed as a percentage of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount): Small Business -- 61.2%; Small Disadvantaged Business -- 9.1%; Woman Owned Small Business -- 4.5%; Historically Black Colleges & Universities/minority Institutes (where applicable) 9.4%.
