U.S. Department of the Interior has a requirement for a contractor to
provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the lab
analysis of urine specimens. The contractor shall perform testing for
the presence of Amphetamines, Opiates, Phencyclidine (PCP), Cocaine,
and Marijuana (5 drug panel). The Contractor will be required to
perform and comply with all applicable provisions of the Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration (SAMHSA), "Mandatory Guidelines for Federal
Workplace Drug Testing Programs" as published in Volume 59 of the
Federal Register on June 9, 1994. The period of performance shall be
from October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, with options to extend
the performance period for four additional one year periods. The
anticipated release date for solicitation 14-01-0001-98-R-16 will be on
or after July 21, 1998. All responsible sources shall submit a proposal
which shall be considered by the Department of the Interior. Telephone
