E-MAIL: Timothy P. Stubbs, T.P.STUBBS@larc.nasa.gov. NASA Langley Research Center plans to issue a IFB for a Bridge Crane, Building 1212C, NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA . The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following: Provide and install a 9,090 Kilogram (10 ton) bridge crane, complete with trolley, hoist, electrification and controls in Building 1212C, West Area, Langley Research Center. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, equipment, tools, materials, labor and services necessary for or incidental to a complete and finished job as described in the drawings and specifications. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100,000 to $250,000 and the effort shall be completed within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1796 and 7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about July 22, 1998 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about August 21, 1998. All QUALIFIED responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
