System to have distributed intellegence, analog-addressable initiating devices. Spot detectors are required in some areas. Flame detectors and air-sampling systems re required in high-bay areas. Professional design services of a fire protection engineer are required for detail design. The existing fire alarm system will require demolition after the new system is operating. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1731. The magnitude of this project is $250,000 -- $500,000. This solicitation is unrestricted. Interested firms should send requests as early as possible but no later than 20 Jul 98. Only written requests, with payment, for the solicitation will be accepted.
