This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Peace Corps had need of printing services for the printing of a quantity of 133,000 copies of a Tear Card Poster. The contractor shall provide such opeations as disk output, color separation, film making, proofs, printing, binding, packing, and distribution to produce the 133,000 copies. The contractor's production facilities used in the manufacture of the publication ordered under this contract shall be located within a three (3) hour travel radius of the US Peace Corps Headquarters location at 1990 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20526. The contractor is to supply all materials and operations, other than those listed under "Peace Corps to furnish" necessary to product the product in accordance with the specifications. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the most advantageous product to the Government; whose technical proposal meets all of the requirements of this notice and also of the specifications (which will be distributed as an addendum to this notice) including any technical features; and who is considered to be responsible within the meaning of FAR 9.104; who offers the lowest aggregate price; and whose past performance has been acceptable.
