D -- MANTAIN AND UPDATE THE PROD6 AND PROTRAC SYSTEMS POC Contact Stephen A. Snyder, 410/786-7213/Contracting Officer, Edward Hughes,410/786-0203 The Health Care Financing Administration intends to contract on a sole-source basis, with Blair Software Systems, 9510 Perry Hall Blvd., Baltimore, Md. 21136. This is a follow-on contract to maintain and update the Peer Review Organization (PRO) voucher reporting analysis system (PROD6) and PRO Contract Cost Allocation Tracking System (PROTRAC) in order to reflect requirements under the PRO new 6th Statement of Work (SOW). In order to reflect the new Standard Data Processing System (SDPS) 6th SOW requirements and changing technology, the PROD6 and PROTRAC systems need to be modified. The PROD6 system is scheduled to be a Window based system written in Visual Basic. The PROTRAC system is DOS based. In order for HCFA to continue to have the ability to analyze costs between and among PROs and monitor financial contract requirements, the PROD6 and PROTRAC analysis systems need to be updated. The PROD6 and PROTRAC systems require support, maintenance and enhancements. The Contractor shall maintain the systems with state of the art technology and will provide, as enhancements are made, appropriate and timely installation, training and documentation to the SDPS user community. Maintenance of the system shall include at a minimum, a standard software package that would allow the PRO community to continue to submit their vouchers to HCFA. The contractor shall also take an active role in meetings, workgroups, user groups and any other activity that would allow for improvement in the support, operation and enhancement of the PROD6 analysis system.
