This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) F40650-98-Q-0021 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 2869 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. CLIN 0001: R134A Refrigerant (Tetrafluorethane) in accordance with ARI 700-93. Note: (1) Furnish in two separate shipments: No. 1 -- 18,000 lbs, estimated delivery 1 Sep 98, No. 2 -- 22,000 lbs, estimated delivery 15 Jan 99; (2) Delivery to be made between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM, local time, Monday thru Thursday; (3) Liquid fill connection to be 2" NPS coupling adapter, gas connection to be 1-1/2" NPS coupling adapter; (4) Actual delivery dates to be determined by the Government. Contractor shall give a 7-day notice prior to delivery; and (5) Contractor shall provide MSDS sheet with quote. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold AFB TN.
