48 -- VKF HEATER VALVES SOL F40650-98-Q-0020 DUE 080698 POC Kathy P. Swanson, Contract Specialist, (931) 454-4409 This procurement is for a ball valve with integral motorized actuator. The valve shall be an ANSI Class 1500 (28-inch, face-to-face length, per API 6D) type 4A ball design for installation in a 6-inch NPS SCH 120 carbon steel pipeline between Garyloc hubs. The valve body and bonnet shall be constructed of WCC carbon steel, and the seat shall be constructed of 4140 alloy steel. Valve shall conform to ANSI B16.34 and related standards and tested in accordance with API specification 6D. The actuator design shall be electric with manual handwheel override. The actuator shall be powered by a reversible-type electric motor. The electric motor shall be three-phase and operate on 460 volts AC. Delivery will be to Arnold AFB Tennessee within 120 days after written receipt of award. Quantity -- Two (2) each.
