12 -- COOPERATIVE ENGAGEMENT CAPABILITY (CEC) SOL N00024-98-R-5446 DUE 083198 POC 02542A, Mary Ann Keyser, Contract Specialist, (703)602-8000, ext. 590 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon System Company, St. Petersburg Operation (RSC/SP), 1501 72nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33710, to acquire the fabrication, assembly and test of three(3) Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) test assets, spare sets, two (2) stand alone Cooperative Engagement Processors, associated documentation, one (1) software test bed, development of software interface adaptive layer and engineering and logistical support services for two (2) test events. The requirements are for the CEC/Patriot Joint Air Defense Engineering Program. The test assets will consist of the AN/USG-3 Cooperative Engagement processor, Red processor, Black processor, Receiver Synthesizer and a sixteen (16) module Transmit/Receive Module antenna. Raytheon is the currently the sole developer and equipment manufacturer of CEC. This publication is for information and potential subcontracting to RSC/SP purposes only.
