The original synopsis created the impression that the Command seeks sources to perform a Commercial Activities Study in accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76. In fact, the Command is currently conducting an A-76 study for performance of logistics management functions within the Command's Integrated Materiel Management Center. Although specific functions to be included in the study have not yet been determined, a Request for Proposals for the performance of those functions determined to be contractible will be released on or about September 24, 1998, subsequent to the development of a Performance Work Statement under OMB A-76.
