Wegener, Contracting Officer, (847) 688-2600, x114 SYNOPSIS 1. The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, tools and other equipment for the construction of an emergency room (ER) entrance with canopy, repair of the northeast (NE) parking lot and incidental related work. A steel structure with concrete foundations and piers will be created for the canopy which will consist of an insulated skylight system, acoustical metal deck, concrete clad steel columns and TPO membrane roofing. The ER entrance will consist of aluminum and glass store front material with single swing doors and automatic bi-parting doors. There will be brick accents inside the entrance and there will be exterior cement plaster ceilings, interior acoustical ceilings, painting, resilient tile flooring and the required interior and exterior electrical and mechanical work. The NE parking area will be revised to allow for ambulance parking and an increased number of patient parking spaces. There will be demolition of the existing canopy and parking area and paving and striping of the new parking area along with new concrete curbs, walks and landscaping, and incidental related work at Bldg 200H, Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, IL. 2. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. 3. The estimated construction cost range is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. 4.
