The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment to
upgrade the existing VAV Systems at Bldg. 407. The work includes
replacing three air handling units with new units and providing two new
rooftop air handling units. New chilled and heating water supply and
return piping will be supplied for all new air handling units. New
ductwork will be required. Four conference rooms will be provided with
dedicated direct expansion cooling fan coil units. Each room will have
a single fan coil matched with dual roof mounted air colled condensing
units. A new Direct Digital Control (ddc) system shall be installed to
control chillers and air handling units; and incidental related work.
Estimated price range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Number of days in
the contract: 180. Number of bid items: One. SIC Code 1711, Plumbing,
Heating and Air-Conditioning, $7.0 Million. Prospective Contractors
must register in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to
award of a contract. Bidders are further advised that failure to
register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database may render
your firm uneligible for award. This acquisition will be issued as
Unrestricted and subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR
252-219-7008, Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged
